Next Week:
Math: We are discussing multiplication and different methods you can use to solve multiplication problems. (Arrays, Area Models, Box Method, etc)
Reading: We are going to continue our novel study of Clementine.
Language Arts: We will be reviewing all of the parts of speech that we have gone over so far. I will also introduce how to correctly use the words can, may and must.
Social Studies: I am going to be wrapping up the Maps and Landforms unit next week! We will have a unit test on Friday. I will be sending home a study guide with the students and I have also attached one to this email!
Science: Remember test on Monday!

News:
On Thursday I gave the students information about the Smyrna Golden “K” Kiwanis Silver Pen Writing Contest. This is a writing contest that Kings Springs and four other elementary schools in this area participate in. It is only for fourth graders. This is not a requirement, but I encourage you to look at the information I sent home and discuss it with your child!
We have picture day next Wednesday the 11th and that information was sent home today!
