When little readers are checking out books they often choose books above their current reading level. This provides an opportunity for you to read with your child and to model good reading. 😀
We also want our young readers to be practicing the skills and strategies they are learning in the classroom and in EIP. We teach them the 5 Finger Rule as a strategy to help them find a "just right book" when visiting the school library.
