Give a coat, warm a heart!

Don't be a "dipper"
...be a Bucketfiller!!!
Dear Bucket Fillers,
It's hard to imagine being homeless. There are numbers of homeless people in each of our neighborhoods. This coming weekend, Carol McCloud is helping out with an event to help the homeless in Boston, Mass.
Carol is honored to be part of the Lands' End clothing line promotion to donate winter coats to the homeless. While this is a nationwide project, in Boston they want to tie their "Big Boston Warm-Up" with bucketfilling. Their website is http://www.bigwarmup.com/.
This week, Carol will be visiting two Boston schools on Friday. Then on Saturday, she will be doing two in-store public events and talking about bucket filling in Burlington, Mass. In Boston, they hope to collect 7,700 coats for the homeless. In our home state of Michigan, the goal is 28,000 coats. All coats will go into the community where they are received.
If you want to fill some buckets and have a gently used coat to donate to this project, you can. All Lands' End shops at Sears have a coat collection box through November. We stopped in a local store here and found out that you receive either a 20% off coupon or a receipt for tax purposes.
Please pass this information on to your friends! "Give a coat, warm a heart!"
