We are starting a new weekly Family Math Challenge. Here is how it works. Simply go to the website www.auntymath.com. Select one of the challenges to complete as a family. Download the record sheet here:Download Family-math-challenge-sheet. Send the completed record sheet to school with your child. The child will place it in a special box in the media center. Each week on Thursday Aunty Math (aka Dr. Cannon) will visit our school to draw one completed challenge from the box. The winning family name will be placed on the school sign. The family will receive a certificate of recognition - suitable for framing! The child will receive a "prize package." All students who turn in a completed form will receive a pink "Springer" ticket. In addition we will be increasing our skills in math. It's a win-win situation for everyone!
